Acts 4:13

I love to read Acts 4:13! It says,”When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus! God loves to take ordinary people to do extra ordinary things! He doesn’t always use the most talented, most educated or best spoken person but the one whose heart is willing. I want to encourage you today to spend some quality time alone with the Lord. Allow God to examine your heart and show you a few things about your life. Spend some time getting things right with Him. Then make a list of your gifts and talents. Write them out on paper.

Ask yourself this question. How am I allowing God to use me and my talents to glorify Him. So many people don’t use what God has given them! You may not be musically trained or never attended seminary. That is ok! Use what God has given you. Don’t look for excuses but opportunities that God is putting in front of you. Above all, spend time with Christ and people will take notice that you have been with Jesus!
