Charles Spurgeon once said,”If Jesus is precious to you, you will not be able to keep your good news to yourself. You would whisper it into every child’s ear; you would be telling it to your husband; you would be earnestly imparting to your friend; without the charms of eloquence you will be more than eloquent; you heart will speak, and your eyes will flash as you talk of this sweet love… Every Christian here is either a missionary or an imposter.” Wow.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says, “Christ love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” I want to make sure you caught that! Paul said, “If you are in Christ, we should no longer live for ourselves but for the one who died for us!” I am so full of myself, how about you? We are more passionate about or workout or a room we just painted than our Lord Jesus Christ. It is said to say but this is truth. When we genuinely love God, we want to tell others about His amazing love and grace!
Missionary or imposter?
