Pass Through

Good morning! Before you read this, please take the time to begin your day in prayer. Take this time to praise Him, ask Him to forgive you and to cleanse you from sin. Thank Him for the blessings of life. Then take time to pray over your friends and family, and yes even pray over your own needs. Make prayer a priority this morning.

Isaiah 43:1b says, “Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” If you need some good news this morning, there it is! I can sit in this chair this morning and say I have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ! Man, my sins have been forgiven and I have been made right in the site of an Holy God. I was dead but now I am alive. I was blind but now I see. I was condemned to a place called Hell but now I am walking in newness of life! I am His child! A child of the living God, all because of Jesus.

Continue to read Isaiah 43:2-3. It says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” One thing is certain in life, there will be troubles, and hard times will come. God never said follow me and you will have a troubled free life. He said, “when you pass through the waters, when you pass through the rivers, and when you pass through the fire.” Storms will come and go but one thing is certain. He will be with you every step of the way! He will not leave us or forsake us. He will see you through! You have to trust Him.

Can you say this morning, ” I have a Savior and His name is Jesus?” Are you tired of facing this life alone, and trying to do everything in your own strength? For many this morning, you need to stop what you are doing and simple say, I need you Jesus! The God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego holds my hand and walks me through life! Thank you Lord!
