Psalms 23:5

It’s one of those days! My Phone dies and my alarm doesn’t go off at 4:00 am. Running late and having to rush. Have you ever notice, that is the way life goes? It’s how you deal with it when things don’t go as planned.

Let’s crack open the Word of God this morning and look at Psalms 23:5. It says, “You prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.” Don’t give the enemy a seat at your table! God wants to spread a feast of provision before us in the very presence of our enemies. God doesn’t promise that he will hit the eject button every time we are surrounded by hardship, trial and challenges. He promises something even more powerful, right in the mist of the trouble, in full view of the things that are threatening us, our shepherd spreads a table of provision for us. Jesus is the Lion of Judah, his voice shatters the enemy.

So we decide who gets to sit at our table, who joins that special meal with us. Don’t give the enemy a seat at your table! Say no to worry, fear and doubt! My cup overflows this morning.
