Good morning friend! Open day of college soccer is in the books and the season is underway. I hope you had a great Saturday and an even better time of worship today! Let’s dive in.
I was reading this morning in Romans and I came across chapter 5:5, and I had to stop and read it over and over again. It says, “Hope doesn’t disappoint, because the love of God has poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” So often we run from God to escape God’s punishment. But what we are actually doing is eluding His rescue. God knows all about us! He knows what we have done in our past and what we will do in our future. But the crazy thing about God’s love is that it will never stop! He loves us the same today as He did yesterday, no matter what. It is God’s unconditional love that changes us and brings last joy and fulfillment. Once we understand and accept that there is no greater love than the love of God, we will be ready to take the first step in living the life He has for us!
There is a way to live each day fulfilled, satisfied, and blessed! No matter where you are today, there is hope in Jesus Christ! I want to encourage you today to give God all your junk and allow God to turn it into beautiful art work for His glory! What the devil meant to harm you, in God hands, will encourage you and glorify Him! Hope doesn’t disappoint!
Why do we run from the One who loves you the most? God bless!
