Good morning! It’s Friday and God is good. I want to first congratulate my good friend Coach Suggs and the Lee County Lady Trojans Softball team for making it to the Final 8! Awesome job and keep it going.

I am sitting here in my kitchen feeling extremely blessed! I am blessed because of my health, my family, good friends, and my faith in Jesus Christ! How about you? There is a verse that has jumped off the page this morning, that I want to share with you. Romans 4:7-8 says, Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sins the Lord will never count against him.” We all mess up and some mess up more than others. There are things in my life that I am not proud of and wish I could go back and get a do over. But thank God for the truth we find in Romans 3:21-24, “But now a righteousness from God, apart from the law, has been made know, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace the the redemption that came by Jesus Christ.”

In Christ, because of His ultimate sacrifice and God’s amazing grace, we can experience forgiveness! We are made right in the sight of God and set free from the grips of sin and bondage. For all those who receive His gift! Check out this Good News in Romans 10:9-13, “That if you confess with your mouth , “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the scripture says, “Anyone who trust in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, Every one who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Have you experience His forgiveness? Have you trusted Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you been set free from shame, guilt, and regret? Are you blessed?

I want to close with 1 John 8-9. It says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify is from ALL unrighteousness.” Dump it all at the Lord’s feet this morning! Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven! What are you waiting for? God bless!
