Good morning! John 9:10-11 Pilate asked Jesus, “Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have the authority to crucify You?” Then Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over Me, unless it has been given you from above.” Jesus also spoke in Matthew 10:29, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.” Whether the circumstance is big or small, we must know, God is in control!
Psalm 103:19 says, “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all.” I don’t know why bad things happen to good people. There are a lot of things that happen on this side of eternity that make me stop and scratch my head. Many circumstances are not God’s perfect will, but He allows them through His permissive will. Through it all, we need to trust Him! Our lives belong to our sovereign, all knowing, and loving God. I hate to say this, but it is the truth. I hate the difficulty or the test while I am in it, and I wonder why I had to face it. But on the other side, I can see why He allowed it. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who has been called according to his purpose.”
Durning those tuff times, remind yourself that God has your best interests on his heart. There is no reason to doubt Him, because His love for you is perfect! Proverbs 3:5-6. Trusting Him means to look beyond what we can see. Know that He sees the entire picture, from beginning to the end. He is your loving Father that wants the best for your life! Thank you Lord!
