My earthy father is Donald Kenneth Taylor. Most people now call him Papa. He was raise in Doerun, Georgia on a share cropping farm. He knew what it was like to work! At a very young age he learn how to plow the fields with a mule, pick tobacco, and to do what ever it takes to help out. He will tell you to this day, they didn’t have much but he was perfectly happy! I could tell you so many stories about this man I call Daddy, but this blog could not hold it. But I will say this, he taught me how to be a man! He taught me how to work hard and win the respect of my peers. He showed me how to be a loving husband and a provider for my family. Through his actions, I found out how to be a dad to my children. But he also taught me how to live a life faithful to God! He sacrificed everything for his children because of his amazing love. Because of that, I want to make my daddy proud! I want to live a life that will honor him and his name.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” Make your “Heavenly Daddy” proud! God the Father will gave His own Son to die for us. He gave His very best to give us life and life more abundant. He show us grace and mercy even when we don’t deserve it. He provides and protects us day in and day out. He even gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit! Our Helper and our guide. We are not our own, make your Heavenly Daddy proud by living a life that will give Him honor!
Papa, you are so loved! Thank you for showing us how to really live! You are my hero! God bless and have a great Tuesday.
