Love Your Tailgater

Good morning friend! I am having a great time in Titusville, Florida and I am excited about worship today! I can’t wait for it to get started. We also had the opportunity to experience the Titusville Christmas Parade. It was so good to see old friends and to have time just to hang out.

I don’t know about you, but there are two things that drive me absolutely crazy. The first things is, I hate to be lost! It drives me crazy not to know where I am going. Yes, I am one of those men who hate to ask for directions. If you want my family to be in a unhealthy family discussion, put us all in a car, and send us to a place we never been. Most likely, I will make a wrong turn and tension will mount! I know it’s crazy. The second thing the Devil uses to get me off track, is someone tailgating me! I know this shouldn’t bother me like this, but it get my blood pressure up. Don’t you love it when someone is riding your bumper, and they are in such a hurry, and they finally zoom around you, and they get caught at the next red light? I love to pull up beside them and wave and ask them, “How is the tailgating working for you?” If the Devil can’t make me bad, he will send a tailgater on my bumper. Don’t be surprised what the Devil will use to trip you up. Pray for me, I am headed North on 95 today! Haha.

I want to leave you with 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 this morning. It says, “Be on your guard, stand firm in your faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.” What tactic does Satan use on you? I want to encourage you this morning to write down what the devil uses to trip you up. Then read through these two verses again, and see what God is telling you to do to counter his attack. I needed this today! God bless you, and I will see you tomorrow. Do everything in love! I hear you Lord.
